The learning programme covers the law and good practice in developing and implementing internal policies and championing inclusivity.

The course and related assignment enable delegates to examine existing practices within their organisation and identify ways to positively influence change and improvements for the future.

CONNECT WITH ILM 4!

The ILM Level 4 Award in Managing Equality and Diversity in an Organisation is delivered using a combination of live interactive workshops (on-line or face to face or a combination), e-learning and reading resources via an online platform, assignment guidance video and live Q&A assignment tutorial. Delegates also have access to ad hoc support as needed to complete their assignment.

The learning is delivered over two modules, preceded by a short induction and guided pre-work and followed by a group assignment discussion and Q&A session. The written assignment (2,000 words) has a practical focus, encouraging delegates to review the implications of legislation on their area of responsibility, evaluate existing organisational policies and implementation and recommend actions to make improvements in their own area in the future.
