Duration: 1 day | 1 workshop

Societal change demands that we create more diverse and inclusive organisations. Not only is it the right thing to do but it also makes business sense. Significant research shows that diverse and inclusive organisations outperform their peers.

Inclusive leaders are the key to this success, they unlock potential, enhance the collective power of teams and enable your business to innovate and grow. It is no use having a diverse workforce if you do not have emotionally intelligent, inclusive leaders to enable people to thrive.

Inclusive Leadership is a highly experiential 1-day programme for leaders which focuses on building essential skills and competencies and challenging mindsets to enable leaders to do so inclusively within an organisation.

At the outset, we work with each client to ensure that the session is grounded in the context of their organisation. We will therefore work closely with you to tailor our core content so that the programme is both relevant and bespoke to your business.

Inclusive Leadership is a critical competency for leaders. This one-day workshop can act as a precursor to further inclusion development work within your organisation. Our programme will create a platform, raise awareness and really motivate leaders to lead inclusively delivered by one of our specialists.

The sessions would be facilitated in a highly interactive discursive way. Delivered in smaller groups (a maximum of 12 delegates) to allow for openness, sensitivity and challenge and to really explore the following key elements:

  • The case for inclusive leadership & diverse teams

  • The inclusion landscape & employee lifecycle

  • Creating a thriving environment – valuing difference

  • Emotional and cultural intelligence

  • Wheel of Power & Privilege – my biases

  • What does inclusive leadership mean at your company?

  • Managing diverse teams & building trust

  • Culturally inclusive conversations

  • Action forward

The agenda for the day will also include time to assess self and own organisation’s approaches in this space and create an action plan and development plan going forward.
