I am an executive coach, trainer, facilitator and OD/HR consultant who is driven by my belief in the enormous potential of every individual.
Through my executive coaching practice, I bring both experiences of the corporate world and a real understanding of the complexities of the human mind and behaviour to each coaching session, with a clear focus on building personal excellence.
Prior to establishing myself as an independent coach in 2008, I was Executive Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development at Sheffield Children’s NHS Trust and previously worked within Northern Foods for 18 years in a range of HR roles with a strong commercial focus.
I would describe my style as warm, engaging, empathetic and challenging. I really connect with individuals and establish strong, confidence-building relationships, enabling real learning and change. My knowledge of psychological models informs my approach, including the use of psychometric tools where appropriate.
I am a firm believer in positive psychology, working with clients to maximise their well-being and effectively utilise their key strengths. Clients are really stretched to raise their levels of self-awareness and gain different perspectives and a greater understanding of what’s going on beneath the surface. I help clients identify any barriers to achieving their full potential. We work through them together to achieve a clear sense of direction and plan for the future.
