I'm an executive coach, trainer, and facilitator. I have over 25 years of experience in the corporate world, augmented by leadership roles in the not-for-profit and public sectors.
I have lived in Hong Kong and Singapore and worked all over the world in sectors including telecommunications, technology, finance, professional services, government, health and infrastructure.
Prior to founding my own coaching business, I had previously had a career as a lawyer in the City of London, followed by a second career in learning and development. I have a strong interest in equity and inclusion, and in seeing more diverse leadership teams in all sectors and at all levels.
My style is calm, warm and empathetic – but challenging too. I work closely with all my clients to create rapport and build a strong partnership. I bring all of my knowledge, experience and intuition, but most of all bring a quality of deep listening and attentiveness that enables my clients to slow down, pause and use the space to think deeply and creatively.
I work with clients in different ways, focussing on approaches that resonate with them, but always with a mixture of support and challenge. Whatever the topic, I support clients to work out what they are learning about themselves and their own thinking processes.
I keep a focus on clarity, whether that is around goals, actions or self-knowledge; and I work with clients to create both their overall vision and the practical steps needed to achieve it.

TESTIMONIALS
“Shalini and I worked together for approx. 1 year as I transitioned into a new leadership role within my existing organisation. The new role requires me to work cross functionally, and I needed to build trust and confidence across my peers quickly to deliver across a broad range of complex objectives. As the role was outside my previous experience I had to hold confidence in my own ability to make the transition effectively, and this is where Shalini really helped me.
Shalini has a warm, calm, and supportive style. I particularly appreciated the way she held space for me to reflect on the progress I had made between our meetings, signposting the personal growth I had achieved with examples. We covered both personal and professional priorities which was important as one of my objectives was how to ensure I maintained balance through a very intense period of professional change.
Working through Teams rather than in person suited me very well. I didn’t feel it impacted the relationship we developed, and ensured I could be very efficient with my time which was important to me.
Overall, Shalini’s support was invaluable. I highly recommend her as a transition coach.”
